Young Life Trail West Work Week, Beuna Vista, CO, May 12-18

College students and leaders went on a trip to help get Trail West ready for the summer. They volunteered their time for a week to work on things such as yard work, cleaning, and building things needed to keep the camp operational. Trail West is not your normal Young Life camp, it specializes in bringing families closer together. Families from all over come to this camp to experience Christ together. It is a special privelage to be able to work together with your area and help others have the best week of their life.

Camp Buckner, Burnet, TX, June 8-12

YoungLives will be took 6 girls and their babies to Camp Buckner where 108 teen moms and 102 babies had an opportunity to encounter Christ on a whole different level. It allowed girls to step out of the chaos of their lives for one amazing week. Volunteer childcare workers on site give teen moms a chance to be a teenager again and reflect on a life of following Jesus.

Young Life Crooked Creek Ranch, Fraser, CO, June 23-30

We took 36 high school students went to Young Life’s Crooked Creek Ranch, in Fraser, CO, where kids were shown what we believe to be “the best week of their lives”.  At Crooked kids are invited into adventure and excitement throughout the week and hear the amazing love story of Jesus Christ.  At the end of the week they got to come home with their leaders and have someone to walk with after the camp bubble has burst.

RMR Backcountry House Boat Trip, Lake Powell, UT June 9-14

We wanted to give kids who have already been to a traditional Young Life camp the opportunity to do something different, so we teamed up with RMR Backcountry to participate in their House Boat trip on Lake Powell for second time campers. We took 14 high school kids on the trip. This was the second year we participated in this excursion and it was even more amazing than the first! We had the oppurtunity to witness them beginning to connect the dots of service and the adventurous life that God is calling each of us into.
